Milwaukee Tool’s ONE-KEY™ Bluetooth Tracking Tag attaches to tools and equipment. The tag provides accurate information on the last seen date, time and location of a tool when within 300 feet of any ONE-KEY™ device and provides a 30-day history.

JLG’s Bluetooth® Analyzer and Bluetooth Analyzer Reader for scissor lifts equipped with Mobile Control Module is now integrated into the JLG® Mobile Control App. Users can view and edit mobile elevating work platforms and telehandlers parameters via a mobile device. The Bluetooth Analyzer Reader gives a summary of requested machine analyzer menus that can be shared via a user’s smart device.

Software & In the Cloud

Autodesk has been busy with 50 new updates to Autodesk Construction Cloud. They include a Construction Cloud unified platform and BIM 360 so users can share data from a dashboard within Insight; users can submit change suggestions to the schedule manager in Autodesk Build; and estimators can preserve critical information including sheets and/or models along with associated takeoffs and inventory within a project.

Corecon cloud-based construction estimating, project management and job cost software suite now includes new data views and APIs offering access to information across the entire system. The new BI Dashboards offer an executive overview of project financials. Users can print estimate proposals, client contracts, subcontracts, change orders or progress invoices with Detail Report Templates.

Cupix CupixWorks 3D digital twin technology platform combines information capture, ingestion, data analysis and context into a single system for tracking and managing construction progress. Site insights reveals when to generate subcontractor invoices based on the percentage of completed work; and it captures, quantifies and shares percentage metrics on deviations that building elements experience between the original BIM file and as-built progress.

Avvir Accelerate’s planning and consulting software helps users at every stage of the construction project lifecycle, from early programming stage pre-RFP, through design development phase to pre-construction and construction phases. Avvir users get help streamlining their entire project with Avvir tools and best practices for finding, communicating and acting on project information more efficiently, allowing them to gradually build up confidence and mastery to continue autonomously.

Extracker change order communication platform added new features to give users the ability to annotate change order request PDF documents sent between companies. Users can add markups, highlight text and add virtual sticky notes to PDFs, which allows for content-specific feedback on documents.

1build now includes real-time pricing data for labor, materials and supplies in every U.S. county in its construction and cost estimation platform. The platform also provides users with access to the industry’s largest network of on-demand expert estimators, available on standby for additional support as needed.

Verisk’s suite of solutions—including Xactimate, XactAnalysis and ClaimXperience—offers estimating, analytics and collaboration tools for property professionals to handle insurance claims. Using machine-learning and Vai-powered technology, property professionals can track and deploy team members, scope and estimate repair costs, conduct virtual policyholder-led damage assessments and settle property claims, improving the policyholder experience and reducing the overall repair life cycle.
