The Right Endorsement: Additional Insureds
Adding other parties as an additional insured on a general liability policy is popular. ISO’s versions of the standard endorsements, CG 20 10 and CG 20 37, are not always advantageous to additional insureds, especially in construction.

Christine Cowan, CIC, CRIS, ARM, is an Account Manager in the Commercial Insurance Department. She provides direct support for her Account Executive and Unit Manager and manages her Account Administrator’s workload. Her responsibilities include delivering quality service to her clients through various servicing aspects such as providing support for new and renewal business processes, reviewing insurance requirements and contracts, and managing day-to-day tasks requested by clients. Christine has a B.B.A. in finance, investment and banking, and risk management and insurance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also holds Professional Designations Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) Construction Risk Insurance Specialist (CRIS) Associate in Risk Management (ARM).
