EPA’s WIFIA Program to Provide Credit Assistance for Water Infrastructure Projects
The EPA expects that the current $20 million in WIFIA funding will support approximately $1 billion in credit assistance. This funding comes at a time of great need, as EPA surveys indicate approximately $660 billion will be needed to meet certain water infrastructure needs in the next 20 years.
