Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.

Becker Morgan Group

Nineteen new staff members recently joined Becker Morgan Group in its architectural, civil engineering, surveying, interior design, marketing, finance and administrative departments. New staff members include Allison Shockley, AIA; Andre Gordon; Augustus Abbey; Caroline Krauss; Cathy Mason; Christine Smith; Elizabeth Cavallaro; Emily Davis; Erin Hays; Ian Birl; J. Morrissiey; Jeremy Redlich; Justine Palmer; Lisa Goss; Megan Reynolds; Michael Weber; Molly Marino; Nicolas Villarroel, P.E.; and Ryan Shaffer. Becker Morgan Group provides architecture and engineering services.

BELL Construction

Rebecca Ozols and Sam Hand were named additional owners of Bell Construction. Ozols is vice president of growth and strategy and Hand is senior project manager, building operations for BELL, a construction company in the Southeast providing general contracting, design-build and construction management services across multiple sectors, including hospitality, office and transportation.

Big-D Construction

Holin Wilbanks was named national accounts manager for Big-D Construction. Wilbanks’ role will encompass business development and account management, working with national accounts throughout the United States to promote the Big-D family of companies—which provide unparalleled construction management, general contracting and design-build services.

Chadwick-BaRoss

Chadwick-BaRoss Inc. (CBR) acquired J.F. McDermott Corp., a leading distributor of equipment to the water and waste water industries. All McDermott employees will join CBR, which is a regional leader in the construction equipment sale and leasing industry across New England.

JLL

Chris Maciejczak joined JLL as a managing director of the firm’s life sciences project and development services group. Maciejczak will be responsible for leading a team that provides comprehensive construction project management services to clients, as well as providing general life sciences industry consulting. JLL is a professional services firm that specializes in real estate and investment management.

Procore

Sandra Benson was named global head of industry transformation for Procore, a construction technology firm. Benson will be responsible for the company’s product and sales engineering teams on customer and partner requirements, as well as advising the firm on its global expansion.

Skanska

Brad Nystrom was named vice president of operations for Skanska’s civil division on the West Coast. Nystrom will help lead civil operations and business planning in California and Washington. Skanska is a global construction and development firm.
