Construction Employment News: May 2022

Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.

Adolfson & Peterson Construction

Molly Ahrens was hired as a marketing manager, Kristie Breeden was hired as a project manager II, Mike Tompkins was hired as a senior superintendent and Cristian Gutierrez and Jason Axtell were hired as project managers of Adolfson & Peterson Construction (AP). In addition, Zac Byard was promoted to senior superintendent; Vince Castillo was promoted to senior project manager; Caleb Frost, Jonathon Harper and Steve Reamer were promoted to assistant project managers; Kelly Salvione was promoted to director of project operations; and Joel Splinter was promoted to quality control manager. AP is a national, family-owned construction management and contracting company.

BELL Construction

Rick Bruining joined BELL Construction as project executive in the company’s Justice Division. Bruining joins BELL with more than 35 years of construction industry experience, with the past 21 years devoted exclusively to the justice sector. BELL provides general contracting, design-build and construction management services across multiple sectors, including hospitality, office and transportation.

Hoar Construction

Bryan Katzenmaier joined Hoar Construction as the company’s newest director of business development. Katzenmaier will oversee client-relationship management and spearhead new business initiatives as Hoar continues to pursue projects in Charlotte and the broader region. Hoar specializes in commercial, industrial, health care, government, cultural/entertainment, education, residential, hospitality and retail/mixed-use construction.

Summit Electric Supply

Dwayne Roberts joined Summit Electric Supply as vice president of operations and will lead inventory management and procurement, pricing and profitability, service center and customer service operations, logistics and fleet management, and the company’s quality and safety programs. Summit is a privately held, independent electrical distributor.

U.S. Green Building Council

Lisa Revitte was named COO of the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), where she will support USGBC and Green Business Certification, Inc. In this newly created role, Revitte will support business leaders in a variety of areas, including facilities, finance, human resources, legal and technology. USGBC is committed to a prosperous and sustainable future through cost-efficient and energy-saving green buildings.

Woolpert

Bryan Dickerson rejoined Woolpert as a vice president and director of operations for infrastructure. Dickerson has more than 25 years of experience in water planning, energy and asset management leadership, supporting public and private industries and clients across the country. Woolpert is an architecture, engineering, geospatial and strategic consulting firm.
