Apps

Sakrete’s AR mobile app scans the project space to calculate the amount of product needed using spatial computing to measure and estimate different jobs. The app recommends the correct Sakrete product and quantity and directs users to the closest retail location. The app is free, in English and Spanish, at iOS and Android.

Raken daily reporting app and field management solution offers more language options, including Spanish. Users can set their language of choice for web and mobile. All functions in Raken's reporting and field management software are translated, including notes, application labels and reports. Additional languages are planned in the near future.

Product

Safeguard Equipment’s personal voltage and current detector, Compass, can be placed on a hard hat to detect voltage and current before the user comes in contact with a threat. It also shows the approximate direction of the energized conductor.

SiteAware digital, automated and online quality control solution for construction exteriors completed a successful façade inspection of the 1,100-foot high Salesforces Tower in San Francisco. SiteAware uses drones and other sensors to capture façade data and advanced computer vision technology and AI to provide rigorous facade inspection reports.

Aquajet Systems AB hydrodemolition Ergo Climberattachment for the Ergo System hydrodemolition robot attaches to standard scaffolding pipes and robotically moves along them for systematic vertical concrete or refractory removal, up to 9 cubic feet of concrete per hour. Aquajet’s high-pressure Power Pack provides water pressure and flow. The Ergo System’s controller unit powers and controls the hydraulics.

With the Bosch GLI18V-1200C 18V Connected LED Area Light with Bluetooth®, users can turn the light on and off remotely, dim the light, put it on a timer and even check the battery – all from the free Bosch Toolbox App. The Bosch GLI18V-1200CN is lightweight, has a protective roll cage, dust and water-resistant cover, and five setup positions.

CM Labs Simulations’ SimGuide Service helps companies embed a simulator into new or existing training programs, incorporating simulation into new initiatives, such as operator cross-training, or as an operator recruitment and assessment tool.

Software & In the Cloud

Trimble PULSE® field management suite with SaaS-based telematics platform has an intuitive user interface and expanded dashboard to view and share key fleet and equipment management functions, such as fleet optimization, by monitoring fuel consumption and idle time; driver behavior reporting and insights; real-time visibility into equipment deployment and use; and ability to plan and execute preventative maintenance.

Airsquire intelligent as-built survey platform automates construction verifications using AI, reducing errors in 3D construction projects. Airsquire just received a capital injection from Dutch venture capitalist henQ.

Trimble’s Tekla solutions give professionals in the structural steel, precast and cast-in-place concrete industries a Constructible Process and innovative approach for digital transformation of AEC and EPC workflows. Tekla Structures 2019 features include Revit Export and Design-to-Cost tool, which supports faster value engineering and more economical precast solutions. Tekla Structural Designer 2019 has a Core Walls feature to enhance real-world simulation and constructible core wall modeling, and focus on data interoperability with Tekla Structures and Autodesk Revit. Tekla Tedds 2019 integrates with Tekla Structures for convenient design management for users of both Tekla products. Tekla EPM 2019 advanced model-based viewer brings enhanced collaboration and real-time visualization for steel fabrication management.

B2W Software’s ONE Platform updates include B2W Schedule with new capabilities for scheduling, dispatching and tracking construction materials; user experience enhancements to B2W Track field tracking and analysis software; and B2W Inform app which allows contractors to use the B2W forms and reporting solution without Internet connectivity.

NavVis indoor spatial intelligence solutions now include NavVis Cloud, cloud-based platform that gives laser scanning professionals access to NavVis IndoorViewer as a SaaS solution. Fully immersive, web-based 3D buildings can now be delivered as part of every scan project using point cloud files from terrestrial laser scanners and the NavVis M6 Indoor Mobile Mapping system.

With Propeller’s 3D mapping and data analytics solutions, contractors can measure and manage construction sites using visual tools based on drone data. They can establish accurate, reliable ground control with AeroPoints; see progress against design; capture topos; generate cut and fill maps; measure distances, grades and heights; use 3D surveys for a visual conversation with the team; and collaborate and report.
