During the second half of 2013, Associated Builders and Contractors’ Construction Confidence Index indicated growth for contractors’ sales, staffing levels and profit margins. Specifically, sales expectations rose from 63 to 63.2; profit margin expectations expanded from 55.3 to 57.5 and staffing level intentions increased from 60 to 62.2.
