Here’s a look at employment moves that occurred in the construction industry this month.

Frampton Construction Company

Frampton Construction Company LLC, ranked third for medium-size companies with between 50 and 249 employees on the 2022 list of “Best Places to Work in South Carolina.” Frampton—a full-service construction firm providing planning and design support, preconstruction and construction services—has ranked on the list three times.

McCarthy Building Companies

Preston Hodges was promoted to senior vice president, Houston business unit leader, for McCarthy Building Companies Inc. Previously, Hodges served as vice president of the Houston division. Hodges is taking on the role as Jim Stevenson retires from the position, which he held since 2011. McCarthy Building Companies is the oldest privately held national construction company in the country.

Procore Technologies

Steve Davis was named president of product and technology for Procore Technologies, Inc., a leading global provider of construction management software. Davis will lead Procore’s product, design and engineering organizations and will be responsible for driving strategy and execution of Procore’s product offerings.

Stellar

Richard Lovelace was promoted to executive vice president of Stellar’s Commercial/Military Group and Kurt Warzynski was promoted to senior vice president of Stellar’s Food Group. Stellar is a fully integrated firm focused on design, engineering, construction and mechanical services worldwide.

Woolpert

Paul Heflin, a licensed architect, joined Woolpert as a market director, leading architecture, engineering and interior design strategy for the company’s private sector clients, and Scott Yates joined the firm as director of digital transformation. In addition, Darrin Walbom, who specializes in geometric roadway engineering, and Mike Zwick, who specializes in bridge design and rehabilitation, joined Woolpert—an architecture, engineering, geospatial and strategic consulting firm.
