In mind-November, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas found the U.S. Department of Labor’s “persuader rule” to be unlawful and blocked it from taking effect. The decision maintains employers’ right to obtain advice from labor relations experts.

Associated Builders and Contractors and a coalition of stakeholders also filed a lawsuit in March challenging the persuader rule in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas; the motion for summary judgment on the merits of the case is still pending.
